There are some major key parts to a successful body building routine. I will go over a routine that was created by a personal trainer for me, and it worked wonderfully.
The first thing is to remember that in order to build muscle, your body needs to feed your muscles. In order to gain muscle weight one must (only if he/she is working out) eat 1 gram of protein to 1 kilogram of body weight each day in order to have efficient muscle growth. Diet is essentially the most important part of body building. When trying to gain weight in muscle mass one should eat every 2-3 hours, or 6 small meals a day. Each meal should contain a serving of protein. Most meat the size of the palm of your hand has around 15 - 25 grams of protein in it. Along with the protein, lots of carbs and a good multi vitamin should be taken.
Second thing is to get a simple routine and stick to it. It is best to split your workout into 2 days.

Fitness for golf is a common term and senior golfers are getting the gist of it. The secret is out. Fitness for golf has come full circle and all the players on the senior tour and senior amateurs are taking notice.
With the senior golfer comes a rapid decline in physical ability. The golf swing is a physically abusive movement to the human body?unless you take the time to prepare for it.

What will it take to get you to perform better golf? I’ll bet you’ve tried the gimmicky golf training aids. Did they work? How about equipment? How many drivers do you have in your garage? Am I getting your attention yet?
My approach to perform better golf is through training your BODY, not buying more equipment or taking more lessons. It is your BODY that plays the game, so focus on it and the sky is the limit.
I want you to think of yourself as an athlete. You probably were one at some point in your life. Did you ever do a workout for that sport you participated in? I’ll be the answer is yes.
Well now your sport is golf. And to perform better golf means training specific to golf. Not going into a gym and plopping down on a machine. Not working out like a body builder. But doing exercises that are very similar to your golf swing with resistance.

I was watching the Golf Channel (I do that frequently) the other day, with Tiger on. He said it perfectly.
He said, "it would be absurd to think a football player, basketball player or baseball player wouldn’t physically work on his body to play better golf. Why wouldn’t a golfer do the same thing?"
I was sitting there saying, "thank you Tiger"?fitness for golf is here to stay.
If it takes the Number One golfer in the world to convince you?then I’m all for it.

Thick Today Is Fat Tomorrow

As we twentysomethings get further along in our twenties, we may start to notice ourselves gaining weight. It sucks, because at one time you could eat whatever you wanted and now it’s like someone shut off your metabolism. But did you know that by not exercising to lose those extra pounds you are actually setting yourself up for heart disease, colon cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis? I just learned that these are all lifestyle diseases and can be eliminated even prevented by exercising and maintaining a healthy diet. Who knew?

Because women are meant for childbearing we tend to gain weight in our hips and buttocks. But as we get older that fat rises to our abdominal area. Yuck. For men, it just goes directly to their abdominal area, no detours. With all that weight hanging around your heart you are increasing your chances of getting heart disease. And since osteoporosis starts in our twenties, for women and men, if you are not doing any exercise you may find yourself to be a grouchy old person with a humpback in a couple of years. This Aint Golf! Its Cricket!

Go on, admit it, you have never read an article on cricket before, right? But wait, this aint no ordinary cricket, this is the Ashes! The Ashes? Yes, the series between England and Australia that dates back to the 1870’s. The two old foes locked in combat in England throughout the summer.
Australia, world number one, world champions, such a wonderful side that have lauded it over world cricket since the demise of the great West Indian team ten years ago. But England too, and it is England, not Great Britain, have been on the rise. They have defeated all of their main rivals, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and the West Indies, and only the mighty Australia now stand in their way at the summit of world cricket.
Some say that Test cricket (that’s the 5 day variety, I kid you not, and even then the match could be a draw) is a dying sport, some say it has no future, some say the kids of today don’t have the patience to watch a match for five days. It is doomed. Well, as that American general so eloquently replied to the Wehrmacht when surrounded at Bastogne, "Nuts!"
